The UVPhasor operates continuously under the direction of an IoT intelligent controller that reports its status, problems, actions taken, and records activity. The IoT Controller then analyzes its data to project upcoming problems and receive adjustments to operational parameters.
AI Analytics Software operates autonomously to monitor and respond in real-time to changing conditions at every site. As a service, FARLITETM UVPhasors track the performance of its components as well as environmental conditions (air speeds, humidity, UVC intensity levels, lamp status and safety sensors). It updates its operating parameters so that operating trends and issues like ageing lamps, lamp maladjustment leading to misalignment of flux, losses of power, weather and other environmental changes, among many others, are both detected and reported to the FARLITETM Cloud. It may incrementally update its operating parameters to adapt to local changes.
AI Monitoring in the FARLITETM Cloud receives updates from the UVPhasor of all collected data and uses its historical databases to perform a more detailed analysis. Adjustments to operating parameters may be transmitted to UVPhasors to ensure continuity of operations or a service order may be initiated to cause a repair.
It will also report off-normal conditions to FARLITETM Service Support and its designated local service provider. The system subscriber will be similarly advised. FARLITETM Service Support will track any problem and keep the customer informed.

2) IoT UV Phasor
The Farlite™ UVPhasor projects UVC light in a highly controlled fashion into the upper-air space in a building to produce BARRIER ZONES or regions of UVC light that acts as kill zones for aerosol pathogens. It is a patent pending, commercial device that projects UVC light to form people-safe zones.
PHASOR INTEGRATED CEILING MOUNT AND POWER CONNECTION POINT
This component provides a simple, one person only mounting point for the phasor plus a simple power connection point for the phasor electronics and lamp power.
PHASOR ARRAY ASSEMBLY
This array is the source of the UVC light that inactivates or kills aerosol pathogens. All light energy is projected from the lamp horizon upwards creating Barrier Zones with "killing" levels of UVC light for inactivating pathogens riding air currents into the zones.

IoT UVPhasor CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY
This enclosure contains the IoT Controller that operates the UVPhasor. It monitors UVPhasor sensors and controls operational settings of the UVPhasor. It collects sensor data including air speeds, UV light intensities, motion at or near the phasor, phasor tilt, and others to fully track phasor activity. It reports essential data to the Farlite™ Cloud so its advanced AI Applications can assess operational performance and adjust phasor configuration in real time,
MESH ANTENNA FOR IoT MESH NETWORK
This antenna is used by the IoT controller to join the mesh network and communicate to the FARLITETM Cloud. It is a highly redundant network that is encrypted.

3) UVC Light Inactivation
UVC light is a high energy portion of the electromagnetic spectrum where light is frequently described by its wavelength. UVC stands for Ultraviolet Light in the “C” range. Most people are familiar with UVA and UVB ranges as they are present at the surface of the earth. UVC wave lengths range from 100nm to 280nm where 1nm (nanometer) is one 1 billionth of a meter. UVC does not reach the earth’s surface as it is absorbed in the upper atmosphere. UVC makes the protective ozone layer possible.
UVC light has been used to disinfect surfaces, hospitals, and drinking water for over 100 years. Almost all drinking water in the United States is sterilized by exposing it to intense UVC light. It has also been used for decades to reduce the spread of bacteria such as tuberculosis and viruses like influenza and mumps.
Yet, like most things, advances in technology provide opportunities to greatly improve products and Farlite™ has created a UVPhasor (patent pending) that more efficiently distributes UVC light across the upper-air of building space thus damaging all viruses and bacteria (pathogens) capability to reproduce. When pathogens cannot reproduce, they do not cause infections.
UVC light is much like sunburn, a life experience caused by exposure to UVA and UVB light. Farlite’s™ UVPhasor is best thought of as a projector of UVC light so that it can be directed where it is desired and not projected onto humans.
For a PERSON:
SUNBURN =
(Exposure Time) x (Sun Intensity) x (Person's skin sensitivity)
For a VIRUS (or other PATHOGEN) that floats in the air:
EXPOSURE TIME = (Path Length) / (Air Speed)
INACTIVATION =
(Exposure Time) x (UVC Light Intensity) x (Pathogen's sensitivity)
For individuals, more exposure time or exposure when sunlight is strongest results in a worse sunburn.
For pathogens, exposure time depends on air flows that move them about while intensity depends on lamp power. UVC Light Intensity is stronger at the lamp and weaker as the light flux expands as it moves away from the lamp. Slower Air Speed provides more time for energy absorption as the pathogen lingers in the air currents while faster Air Speed provides a more rapid trip through the energy with less time of exposure.
If not completely inactivated in the first trip through the Barrier Zone, it will be exposed to energy as it travels on additional trips to the Barrier Zone. If exposure occurs on multiple trips, it will be cumulative.
